Sortie

Hi,

This one I promise to keep short, because I need to get on with the day's work. Just want to write about the free float of activity that I seem to have got into. Sometimes just feel this need to stop and disconnect from the environment to take stock of the situation and resolve on the priorities of the next phase of days. BUt just so happens, that the 'to do' thigns flash through my mind when I am actually brisking it out rather than relaxing in the pool. Maybe thats the point, relaxing is truly that, not thinking so much about business and work.

Wonder whats the ideal frame of things is. Isnt passion for your work a determining factor for success, and yet we need to disconnect with it, to make sure life is more complete and becomes a rewarding experience. Hmm. . then answer, as is always, lies in between 2 extremes. In the grey! It doesn't take merit away from either of the 2, but tries to integrate them together and mutually inclusive.

Passion is fired by the desire to realise dreams. And dreams and success are only relative to the appreciation from the people you care for and love. There surely is meaning in appreciation from the world, but it never matters more than those close to you. And having people close to you, does require spending quality time with them - which gets us back to original point, we need to take time off from the pursuing of our passion to make sure it stays that way.

Bottomline: Living with passion and striving for excellence - these surely can never be wrong philosphies.

Go for it!
